NOTES

  1. Daughter of Donald McYlrea who died about 1630
  2. Annas married Phinlo (Phil) Cowley and had three children:
    • Margaret b1625
    • Ffinlo b1627
    • Jony b1632
  3. Annas inherited the Ballacroshey lands, so there must not have been a male heir for Donald McYlrea
  4. After her death, Annas's daughter An was given some of the Ballacroshey lands in her Marriage Contract (Lib Vast 1655 Intack 311) so theoretically she was older than Margaret although birth records have Margaret & Jony as her 2 daughters
  5. Annas was probably born about 1600
  6. She was buried 6th April 1636
  7. Her step-mother was Averick Cry als Quackin who died in 1625, and was recorded as the wife of Donald McYlrea of Ballacroshey. She was the ½ sister of Nicholas Quackin (see his will 1628)
  8. Annas's mother might have been the Ann Mc lrea who was buried 31st August 1600
  9. Annas's daughter Jony should have inherited land left to Annas by her father, Donald - some confusion about Lib Vast entry mentioning a daughter named An
